VP / Senior Director Supply Chain
The VP / Senior Director, Global Supply Chain will lead strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier management, and supply chain planning activities supporting our clients rapid international growth.
This role will operate with global remit and will partner closely with Construction, Design & Engineering, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership teams to ensure our client can scale quickly while maintaining supply continuity, commercial discipline, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will bring strong infrastructure or mission-critical environment experience and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities
Global Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership
- Support and execute global supply chain and procurement strategy aligned to business growth plans.
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities across key infrastructure categories including:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- CSA materials
- Generators
- Cooling infrastructure
- Network and telecom equipment
- Critical operational spares
- Develop strategic supplier relationships globally
- Partner with business leaders to improve procurement planning, forecasting, and delivery alignment.
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Lead commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and procurement governance activities globally.
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners.
- Drive supplier performance management focused on:
- Cost optimization
- Delivery reliability
- Quality standards
- Capacity commitments
- Risk mitigation
- Support development of preferred supplier agreements and strategic sourcing programs.
Supply Chain Operations
- Improve visibility into material lead times, manufacturing constraints, and logistics risks.
- Partner closely with Construction and Operations teams to ensure alignment between project schedules and supply availability.
- Help establish scalable supply chain processes, reporting, and operational governance.
- Support inventory and critical spares strategies where required.
- Drive process improvement initiatives focused on speed, efficiency, and scalability.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with Design & Engineering teams on equipment standardization and procurement optimization.
- Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on contracts, vendor governance, and regional requirements.
- Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives where applicable.
Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and mentor a high-performing global supply chain and procurement capability.
- Introduce scalable operational processes and reporting frameworks.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across the business.
What We’re Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or infrastructure operations leadership.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, data centre, industrial, telecommunications, energy, or mission-critical environments.
- Experience operating across multiple international markets.
- Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement programs in fast-moving environments.
- Experience building scalable operational processes and supplier frameworks.
Preferred Background
- Experience in one or more of the following environments is highly valued:
- Hyperscale or colocation data centres
- Telecommunications infrastructure
- Semiconductor or fabrication environments
- Mission-critical facilities
- Energy or utilities infrastructure
- Large-scale industrial or construction environments
